Dr. Chlopak received her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a Minor in Consumer Behavior from Ohio State University in 1976. She joins the MSU faculty after over 30 years of business and consulting experience with AT&T, Citibank, the Gallup Organization and her own consulting company. In addition, she has taught graduate and undergraduate management and marketing courses as at various universities, including Rutgers, Stevens Institute of Technology, Baruch, Seton Hall, Kean and MSU. She has published a book, based on a course she created and taught on career development: Learning to Fish in the Twenty-First Century – Navigating the Career Waters to Find and Land a Choice Position. The book provides job seekers with practical advice, direction and exercises to help them at any stage of their career journey.
