Marianne Egan is a Human Resources and Benefits Professional with over 15 years of experience working in the Financial Industry with a diverse background in the areas of Human Resources Management, Health & Welfare Plan Design and Administration, and Retirement Plans Consulting.
Marianne was VP, Sr. Human Resources Business Partner at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation for over 10 years. During her tenure at BNY Mellon Marianne was the first point of contact for all HR related issues for the Shareowner Services line of business. She successfully managed a team of five professionals to implement human resource initiatives that supported the key business goals and strategies of the LOB and led them through multiple mergers and business restructuring.
Prior to her tenure at BNY Mellon, she served as ChaseMellon Shareholder Services’ vice president of Benefits and Payroll, successfully establishing benefit and payroll processing and controls during the company’s start-up period and subsequent rapid growth that resulted in a 50% increase in staff.
Currently Marianne is a Retirement Plans Consultant for Portfolio Evaluations Inc., working directly with retirement plan record keepers and plan sponsors on vendor search, custodian search, plan fee benchmarking, and other custom projects.
Marianne is a graduate of Rutgers University and a member of the Global SHRM organization and the Morris County local chapter. She holds a SPHR certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute as well as a SHRM-SCP from the Society of Human Resources Management.
