Stephen Sudovar

Professor Sudovar has been teaching at Montclair State University for over 10 years as an Adjuct Professor of Management. He has taught both in the Graduate MBA program and the undergaduate business school.

Mr. Sudovar has over 30 years of professional business experience at senior levels of management in the private sector health care product and service industry.

Over the course of his career, he has been president and Chief exexutive officer of elusys therapeutics Inc., a statrup biotechnology therapeutics organization, where he was the first ceo. The Company is now a profitable organization for several years specializing in Counter biowarfare products including the most advanced product for anthrax exposure which is nearing FDA market approval.

Prior to this assignment, Mr. Sudovar was the President of Roche Laboratories where he was a member of the Board of Directors, executive committee and Chairman of the Business opperating committee. He became president after having held positions with the company as senior vice president and vice president and General Manager. During his tenure at roche, he and his team trippled the size of the company in both revenues and profit and became the number one company in the industry within the hospital field.

Earlier in his career he founded pracon Incorporated, a highly successful Health Care consulting and communications company which, after building the company, he sold it to Reed elcivere before joining roche.

Mr. sudovar also has had substantial experiece in serving on Boards of Directors, including becoming Chairman of the board of three companies and interim ceo of two. He has also served on not-for-profit boards including in his current role as vice chairman of the kessler foundation.

Mr. Sudovar has a BS in Marketing from Saint Peter’s University and an MBA from fairleigh dickenson university.
