School of Business Associate Professor Dr. Devon Johnson will be facilitating the Cross-Disciplinary Discourse Lunch Series on April 27th from 12:00pm to 1:30pm in Student Center room 419. The topic is "Competitive Selling: Unintended Effects of Salesperson Skepticism toward a more Credible Competing Product". This presentation is open to the MSU community.
Dr. Johnson previously held academic appointments at Northeastern University and at Emory University. He earned the Ph.D. from the London School of Business and an M.S. from Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Johnson’s research interests are in the areas of financial service marketing, consumer trust, e-business, customer relationship management (CRM) and healthcare marketing. His research has been published in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, The Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Interactive Marketing and the Journal of Psychology & Marketing among others. Dr. Johnson sits on the editorial Board of the Journal of Interactive Marketing. Dr. Johnson recently won the Best Overall Paper Award for the 2011 Summer Marketing Educator’s Conference for his research on Virtual Healthcare Communities.
