It is not necessary to have completed any prior coursework in business to apply for the MBA program; however, if you have an undergraduate degree in business, you may be eligible for advanced standing.
For the “new” MBA program that begins in Spring 2012, you may be waived from some or all of the foundation courses (12 credits (semester hours)) and complete your General MBA with as few as 37.5 credits if you have an undergraduate degree in business. If your undergraduate degree is not in business, your eligibility for waivers of the foundation courses will be determined upon your acceptance into the MBA program. Please be sure to submit official transcripts from all universities you have attended.
Please note these limitations:
- Only foundation courses can be waived.
- Only credit-bearing college courses (not professional training classes) may be applied.
