Biography

Ram B. Misra is a Professor in the Department of Information and Operations Management at Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. Dr. Misra has published in both operations management and MIS areas. He has published in IEEE Transactions, International Journal of Management Science, International Journal of Production Research, Naval Research Logistics Quarterly, Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, Journal of Information Technology Research, Journal of IT Cases and Applications, Journal of Information Technology and Applications among others. Dr. Misra has over 24 years of industry experience ( at Bell Labs and Bell Communications Research - which was renamed Telcordia Technologies) out of which the last 15 years were in various management positions. Prior to joining Montclair, Dr. Misra was an executive director at Telcordia Technologies (Bell Communications Research).
