The Department of Accounting & Finance offers several undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting, finance, and real estate.  Our well-respected, knowledgeable faculty members are active in their profession and are dedicated to your academic and career success. Accounting is the language of business and simply put, a degree in accounting adds up to an array of exceptional career opportunities– whether they’re accountants, analysts, investors, or managers. Our programs are designed to prepare students to manage and interpret internal and external accounting reports, as well as effectively communicate financial information about firm performance. 

Discover Accounting, which evaluated more than 3,000 colleges and universities and ranked the Feliciano program 31st among U.S. schools, recognized the program’s undergraduate and graduate options and the opportunity for students to connect with prominent companies. 

A Finance degree provides students with the academic foundation to succeed in the areas of corporate financial management and investments in securities. The curriculum in finance is designed to contribute to a broad-based liberal arts education by expanding a student's perception of the financial decisions that individuals and societies must make under widely varying conditions. Strong emphasis is given to the development analytical reasoning, quantitative fluency, written and oral communications, and creative excellence.

The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Institute has provided important recognition to the Finance program of the Feliciano School of Business by admitting the program to the CFA’s University Affiliation program.  In order to attain this recognition, the Feliciano School of Business revised their existing curriculum and added an additional course to prepare students for the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Exam.  

Real estate is vital to the economy. Today, there are ample career opportunities for professionals grounded in business who are skilled in market analysis and real estate valuation. Our programs prepare you for a career in commercial real estate, where you can draw on your ability to analyze, evaluate, finance, develop and manage property assets.
