John Scorsone is a business leader, entrepreneur, and educator currently employed as a Visiting Professor at Montclair State University’s School of Business teaching Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, Management Information Systems, and has led several independent study initiatives for company sponsored student experiential projects.
John’s business career includes senior level management roles in both the large corporate multi-­‐national and small business enterprise. John’s leadership role in strategy and corporate entrepreneurship include accomplishments in sales, marketing, product development, and product line strategy and management in the computer industry. He founded and led a consulting practice offering services to major companies in MIS strategy, project and program management, and professional staffing. As an accredited investor, he also co-­‐founded a medical device start-up company raising capital to finance early stage development as President and COO. He is currently a Counselor for SCORE NJ, an affiliate of the Small Business Administration, offering services to small businesses and prospective start-­‐ups. John has lectured and mentored aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals at his alma mater, Baruch College, City University of New York where he received a BBA in Public Accounting and an MBA in Computer Methodologies.
