In his current role as Global Client Director, Rusty leads a team of professionals experienced in resolving client business challenges by providing consulting services, cognitive and cloud solutions, outsourcing services, and IT infrastructure. Over his career Rusty has specialized in developing and supporting strategic transformations for global clients. He is knowledgeable about industry best practices, business solution development, competitive market analysis and financial and contract management.
In his prior role, Rusty was Director, IBM Cloud, responsible for the development and transformation of the IBM Cloud portfolio into a new Cloud division within North America. He realigned and implemented the sales and consulting strategies and resources to simplify the client’s view of Cloud offerings from IBM: determined portfolio offerings, enabled marketing, designed sales targets and plays, developed execution priorities, and enforced key deal and roadmap management in order to create an integrated go-to-market strategy.
Rusty brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to his current role, including assignments in marketing, sales, and business development positions primarily within the Financial Services Industry at both IBM and Cisco.
Rusty holds a Finance degree from Montclair State University, where he graduated with honors. Through a joint IBM-Harvard University Program, he earned IBM’s top certification given to sales executives. Rusty is a member of the advisory board of the School of Business at Montclair State University since 2009.
