Lenny Savino is vice president of Infrastructure Coordination Management in Global Business & Technology Solutions at Prudential. He is responsible for managing large-scale technology implementations that require end-to-end coordination and relationship management with Prudential’s businesses.
Savino joined Prudential in 1984. Over the years, he has held several positions in IT engineering and, operations and management. His experience includes managing database, mainframe engineering, business continuation and audit functions. Savino has also worked on large-scale technology projects with international impact, such as conducting an infrastructure review of Prudential’s international insurance and investments businesses in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Poland, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Recently, he was responsible for managing the overall U.S. project resources related to the data center migration for Prudential of Japan and Gibraltar Life Insurance companies. This project involved procuring a data center for production and business continuation, establishing Prudential Systems Japan Limited as a legal entity, creating a network, building the technology infrastructure and migrating all business applications into the data center.
Savino is on the Montclair State IT Advisory board and is a Zoological Society of New Jersey Trustee. He is also an alumnus of Boy Scouts of America and holds the highest attainable rank of Eagle Scout.
Savino earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Montclair State University and an MBA in corporate finance from Pace University.
