The Disney Domestic College Program

Montclair State University domestic students have a unique opportunity to participate in the Disney College Program. Students from across the University are invited to take part in the program and can earn up to 12 academic credits while experiencing an internship of a lifetime at Walt Disney World in Florida.

To earn academic credits for the experience, you will enroll in courses through Montclair State’s Cooperative Education program.  To be eligible for co-op, you will need to have earned 30 credits with a minimum GPA of 2.0.  Additional requirements may apply so please check with the Career Services Office in your specific School or College. Dr. Yawei Wang, the Chair of the Marketing Department within the Feliciano School of Business, will supervise this academic experience.

The Disney College Program contains a “Living, Learning and Earning” component:

  • Living:  The program offers a comfortable living community which is only provided for participants of the program.  The housing complexes are diverse in their floor plans and amenities.  All apartments are fully furnished with utilities included in the cost.  Bus transportation is available to and from work, and to local establishments, so a vehicle is not necessary.

  • Learning:  There are many educational offerings through Disney including collegiate courses, seminars, training classes, personal and professional development activities and networking sessions with Disney leaders.

  • Earning:  This is a paid full-time internship experience. Beyond the financial component, participants will develop transferable skills priceless to their future.

Current students from all majors and academic levels are welcome to apply.  Recent graduates are also eligible when applying within 6 months of graduation.
