The AMA PCM Digital Marketing Certification and IAB Digital Marketing Certification Exam Prep are designed to help you successfully complete an exam – not necessarily to better understand digital marketing and its concepts, tools and techniques, challenges and opportunities, analytics,and developing strategy with practical applications as a practicing manager. This certificate program is aimed to provide our students with these essential skills. Upon completing our certificate, we would highly encourage our students to consider pursuing one or both of the certifications.
No. However, students need to have the willingness to learn new software through self-guided online tutorials. As with all graduate programs, students are expected to be familiar with MS Office products.
All courses will be available online starting in Spring 2018. Most of the courses will be offered twice a year.
MKTG 561 Applied Marketing Management and MKTG 562 Market Analysis and Customer Insights are also offered on weeknights in face-to-face format at the Montclair State University campus.
There are eight 1.5-credit courses in this certificate, and they are offered throughout the year. The program is designed to be completed in as few as 12 months. However, the actual time to completion depends on when you begin, your course sequence and the number of courses completed simultaneously.
Yes, in order to be accepted into the Graduate Digital Marketing Certificate Program, you must apply online. The main prerequisite is an earned Bachelor’s Degree.
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Digital Marketing Certificate, you will receive a graduate certificate from the Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University.
This program has rolling admissions, but our recommendation is to apply two to three months ahead of your preferred start term. The most logical start point is Fall (September) followed by Spring (January). The first class will be MKTG 561: Applied Marketing Management or MKTG 562: Market Analysis and Customer Insights.
International students on an F-1 visa are not eligible to be certificate students only, as the certificate is a part-time program. Students already admitted to or pursuing a Master’s degree program at the School of Business (MBA,MS in Accounting or MS in Business Analytics) are eligible to apply for and complete the certificate program simultaneously.
