Dual Degree Programs

Dual degree programs are designed to take advantage of opportunities for “shared” course content, with the  benefits of cost savings and reduced time to completion for participants. 

Montclair State University and the Feliciano School of Business  currently offer two dual degree programs - the MBA/Masters of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)  program and the Masters in Public Health /MBA program. Both allow students to earn two Master’s degrees in as few as 2.5 years! 

MBA/MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) Dual Degree Programs

With this dual program you can complete  an MBA and MS in Business Analytics (MSBA), which is a STEM-designated program. The Feliciano School of Business programs are AACSB accredited, an accolade earned by fewer than 5% of the world’s Business Schools.

MBA/MSBA Dual Degree Program at Montclair State University 

The STEM Designated MBA/MSBA dual degree program at Montclair State University allows students to complete both degrees in as few as two and half years. The program is offered in a blended (a mix of face-to-face, online, or hybrid courses) or fully online format. The program has 57 credits, with 9 “shareable” credits between the MBA and MSBA programs. Students enrolled in the Blended MBA/MSBA dual degree program will participate in both a domestic and international study trip.

  • $60 non-refundable application fee
  • International Students
    • Degree evaluation by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) for degrees from a non-English speaking country
    • TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo scores for students with degrees from a non-English speaking country

 

Master’s in Public Health (MPH) and MBA Dual Degree Program

Why Pursue the MPH/MBA Dual Degree Program?

The Master’s of Public Health (MPH) provides graduates with an understanding of health equity and social justice, which are critical in meeting the healthcare needs of the population. The MBA program is shaped around instilling core business competencies, with a real-world focus on innovative problem solving and global thinking. 

As the need for healthcare administrators and managers is continuously growing, graduates of this MPH/MBA dual degree program will be uniquely prepared to fill the increasing number of positions in the healthcare management industry in the tristate area.

MPH/MBA Dual Degree Program at Montclair State University 

The dual degree requires 69 total credits, with 9 “shareable” credits between the MPH and MBA programs. Students enrolled in the MPH/MBA can enroll in a blended format (a mix of face-to-face, online, or hybrid courses) or enroll in the MPH courses face-to-face and the MBA courses fully online.

Students in the dual MPH/MBA program have the exclusive opportunity to take advantage of the resources and networking opportunities each program offers. Additionally, students enrolled in the Blended MPH/MBA dual degree program will participate in the international study trip, which is a 9-10 day trip to destinations with emerging economies.
