MS in Human Resource Analytics - STEM Designated Degree Program
The Human Resources function has evolved greatly in recent years, as organizations seek to enable their employees to thrive in terms of productivity, innovation and work-life balance. In order to meet those needs, leaders increasingly rely on HR data and analysis to help them develop insights and strategies for attracting, managing and retaining talent.
Our 30-credit STEM-designated Master’s program in Human Resources Analytics was designed to provide students with a unique balance of HR management, technical and analytical skills. Whether you are an HR professional seeking to understand the types of problems and opportunities that may be addressed through the application of analytics tools and techniques, or someone seeking to enter the Human Resources field, you will come away with a thorough understanding of the major functional areas of the modern Human Resources organization and how data may be deployed to manage and support them for optimal results.
The program’s content provides an intensive grounding in business analytics and their application in HR settings and functions, alongside graduate-level courses in HR Management. The program’s capstone practicum course is designed to deliver experiential learning via real-world projects, that pairs student teams with organizations seeking assistance with HR challenges.
Jobs and career opportunities for graduates are many as Human Resources organizations strive to add “people analytics” skills to their repertoires, along with processes for collecting and using data to help in making decisions and improving returns on investment in everything from employee benefits and compensation to training, communications and recruiting.
If you are interested in expanding your HR career potential and upgrading your knowledge and applied analytics skills, our specialized Master’s program will help you stand out in the field and achieve your professional development goals.
